I am glad you found us. We are somewhat of a resurrection congregation, in that we were, with some frequency, presumed dead and yet by the grace of God are quite alive. Central to our community, is our worship of God. Radiating from that, the rest of our life together provides light and heat (some times literally) to those who come near.

Our worship service has a form (called liturgy) that receives its form from the life rhythms of ageless generations seeking and finding the God who calls us so that we may work together for the salvation of all creation. Within the service are times of silent prayer and meditation, time for the Holy Spirit to lead us in the presence of scriptures, as well as a recognition that we are part of a community and not alone.

Music is a moving part of our worship. Whether by instrument or voice, choir or congregation, it speaks where words alone falter. We are most fortunate to be blessed with talented and spirit filled people of music.

As a congregation, however, we are incomplete. So we invite you to be a part of us. Each person who comes to worship brings something that will not be offered in worship unless the person who possesses it brings it. Zion's church was started as a place for immigrants. From it's beginning, our community has been home for unique people. We still are! Come see for God makes all things new, even you! .
